Trilliant is currently hiring a manufacturing project manager to join the Supply Chain & Manufacturing team. This position requires the collaboration among cross-functional teams within Trilliant as well as with vendors, contractors, customers and strategic business partners.  The Manufacturing project manager will provide cross-functional leadership and collaboration with project teams to determine project goals, objectives and critical milestones to ensure products are manufactured and delivered with quality and in-line with customer requirements.



  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors and contractors, engineering and other cross functional teams to effectively and efficiently plan and execute build plans to achieve the overall business objectives
  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Manage external Contract Manufacturers, including regular site visits, to ensure production and quality objectives are satisfied. Validate and process various monthly and quarterly reports required to ensure accurate management of inventory and labor variances at contractors
  • Update Order Administration and all levels of management in regular and ad hoc forums on project and build plan status
  • Contribute to Trilliant Manufacturing policies and strategic planning exercises
  • Manage final approval of Engineering Change Orders in Arena per applicable products, ensuring all first-article testing and Quality Assurance implications are managed and satisfied as per customer and Trilliant requirements and policies
  • Effectively applies our PLC methodology and enforces project standards
  • Minimizes our exposure and risk on products by utilizing Silicon Expert and other tools
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately on SharePoint sites
  • Analyzes product profitability, and manages an effective cost reduction program for applicable products, interfacing regularly with key vendors, negotiating cost reductions, and researching alternatives
  • Uses Project management software to manage all projects
  • Drive continuous process improvement and efficiency
  • Other duties as may be assigned



Manufacturing Project Management

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic high tech environment
  • Experience with global manufacturing in multiple phases, involving different time zones, cultures and multiple regulatory agencies
  • Understands basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and makes decisions accordingly
  • Leadership in Manufacturing Engineering including engineering change controls, quality systems, continuous improvement, and operations
  • Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability, margins
  • Expert knowledge of IPC and other manufacturing standards



  • Effectively conveys message in both written and verbal discussion
  • Facilitates team and client meetings effectively
  • Holds regular status meetings with project team
  • Keeps project team well informed of changes within the organization
  • Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors
  • Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline preferred
  • 10 years of experience as a manufacturing project or program manager
  • Strong experience of supply chain management, including expediting, lead-time reduction, inventory management and international logistics
  • PMP, Six Sigma certification highly desired
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or equivalent, SharePoint or other collaborative tools
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems, such as SAP
  • Demonstrated Quality Management experience
