The flexibility of our communications platform solutions let our utility customers establish billing according to their needs, whether it’s TOU/demand billing natively in the meter, or sending the data to be processed by an MDM system.
The SecureMesh solution adds more value to residential electric meters by providing advanced functionality, including the ability to support two channels of load profiling. Load profile intervals can be programmed between 1 and 255 minutes, although typical values are 15 or 60 minutes. Trilliant’s UnitySuite Software can then utilize load profile data to calculate Time-of-Use or demand as needed for customer billing.
Load profiling for advanced and C&I meters is only limited by the specific meter’s native capabilities. All available channels, as configured in the meter, are available for automatic scheduled reporting to the UnitySuite Software. The flexibility of Trilliant’s SecureMesh solution allows a utility to establish TOU or demand billing natively in the meter or allows the reported data to be processed by an MDM system.
