Network deployment to begin in Malacca, enabling TNB’s multi-year smart grid programs to improve customer service and increase reliability and efficiency
Redwood City, Calif. – (June 13, 2016) – Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), Malaysia’s national electric utility, has selected Trilliant’s for the majority of its deployment in the state of Malacca. Installation will begin this year as part of TNB’s multi-year upgrade to smart meters/AMI, , to give customers greater control over their energy use.
In addition to enabling advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), TNB is evaluating feasibility of the Trilliant platform as a communication option for Distribution Automation and SCADA applications.
